GAT: asterism

A named pattern of stars that is not one of the recognized constellations. Asterisms can be a portion of a constellation (the Big Dipper is part of Ursa Major) or they can contain stars from more than one constellation (the Great Square of Pegasus contains stars from both Pegasus and Andromeda).
