GAT: Mercury

Mercury is the nearest planet to the sun. It has high cliffs that are believed to have been formed when the planet's core solidified, and the crust shrunk.

Mercury is the fastest planet in the solar system and is the second smallest. In fact, because of its small size and proximity to the Sun, Mercury does not have a permanent atmosphere.

Mercury is the only planet besides Venus to have no natural satelites.
