The BLT is a classic that can be found almost everywhere. BLT is an acronym for Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato of which the sandwich consists.

Table of contents

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Take the slices of bread and pop them in a toaster.
  2. While the bread is toasting, fry the bacon until it looks crispy.
  3. Once the toasted slices are ready, put on the sandwich spread.
  4. Put the lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon together in the sandwich.
  5. Cut into triangles.

Notes, tips, and variations

You can mix the lettuce with mayonnaise if you wish, though you can do without it. The slices of bread do not need to be toasted, but it adds a crunchiness that even bacon can not match.

Warnings

Watch out when frying the bacon. Remember to use baking soda if there are any flames.
